Evelyn Fleurant, 86, of Biddeford, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Southern Maine Medical Center. She was born January 24, 1925 in Biddeford, a daughter of George and Rosa (Sylvestre) Poirier. She was educated at St. Joseph's School and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1944.

On May 27, 1946, she married A. Victor Fleurant at St. Joseph's Church. 

As a young woman, Evelyn worked at Reilly's Bakery and the local American Red Cross Office. With her husband and after his death, she owned and operated Vic's Appliance Center in Saco.

She was a member of St. Andre and St. Joseph Parishes of the Good Shepherd and the Daughters of Isabella. She was a foster mother for both St. Andre's Home and the State of Maine. 

In the 70's she and her husband had enjoyed traveling with the Good Sam Club. Evelyn enjoyed knitting hats and mittens for the local church fairs. She also loved reading, bird watching and prided herself in her role as a mother and housewife, hosting many family picnics. 

Preceding her in death were her husband of 43 years, A. Victor Fleurant, October 27, 1989; her son Robert Fleurant in 2000; 3 brothers, George, Joseph and Paul Poirier and 5 sisters, Florence and Gertrude Poirier, Sr. Martha Poirier scim, Sr. Laurette Poirier ocd and Diana Bertrand.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford. BIDDEFORD - Albert P. Deshaies, 87, of Biddeford, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough.
He was born July 9, 1929, in Biddeford, the son of Albert and Therese (Auger) Deshaies. He graduated from St. Louis High School in 1948 and earned his bachelor's degree at Boston College, graduating in the class of 1952.
Al served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1955. On June 26, 1954, he and Madeleine Brunelle were married at The Church of Our Lady in Bamberg, Germany.
His work history included six years as an agent with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., and five years as manager of Canal National Bank in Biddeford. He then served as president of St. Joseph's Federal Credit Union for 27 years, retiring in 1993. In the following years, he worked as a photographer for Paquin & Carroll Insurance.
He was a member and past president of the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club, and also was recognized by Rotary International as a Paul Harris Fellow.
Al had a lifetime interest in music and photography. He participated in both St. Louis High School and Boston College bands. He also played in the Alumni Band, the Italian Heritage Center Band, and the Harvard Summer Band.
Al was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Frederick Lynch.
Surviving are Madeleine Deshaies, his wife of 62 years, of Biddeford; one son, Philip Deshaies and his wife Cecile, of Biddeford, and their children Adrien, Roxanne, Bernard, and Michelle; three daughters, Janice Lynch, of Saco, and her daughter Alyssa; Celeste Bellerose and her husband Garry, of Victor, N.Y., and their son Nathan; and Denise Leal, of York, and her children Caroline and Jonathan.
There will be no visiting hours. A private family service will be held. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. To share condolences online, please visit:

She was educated in Biddeford schools. She was a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Safely) and the Red Hat Society. She loved spending time with family and friends and supporting her grandchildren in their sporting events. She was an active member of St Joseph's Church and had been very involved in various parish activities over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Raymond Janson. 27 BIDDEFORD - Armand "Joe" R. Boisvert, 60, of 53 Harding Street, died Tuesday at Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough after a long illness. He was born November 10, 1934, in Biddeford, a son of Albert and Olivine Corriveau Boisvert, and was educated in Biddeford schools. He graduated in 1954 from St. Louis High School, where he starred in three sports and made All State Honors in football. During the Korean conflict he served four years with the Air Force. On December 27, 1958, he married Pauline T. Neveux in Biddeford. He graduated in 1963 from St. Francis College. For 23 years, Mr. Boisvert taught French at Biddeford Junior High School, retiring in 1987. After retirement, he worked part time for York County Counseling and Pepperell Trust Company. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Knights of Columbus, the St. Louis Alumni, Maine Teacher and National Education Associations. He was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Boisvert in 1965. Survivors include his wife of 36 years of Biddeford; three daughters, Michelle Elmorabit of Lake Worth, FL, Anne of Biddeford and Diane Marcotte of Saco; two brothers, Lee Greenwood of Biddeford and Raymond "Gus" of Old Orchard Beach; a sister, Yvette Pruneau of Biddeford; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Boisvert, Armand R. 28 BIDDEFORD - Jeanette E. Gosselin, 69, of 33 Quimby St., died Monday at Maine Medical Center, Portland.

She was born in Biddeford, July 31, 1914, daughter of Albert J. Beaudoin Sr., and Helen Hurtubise Beaudoin and attended St. Mary’s School.

Mrs. Gosselin was employed for several years by Pepperell Mfg. Co. and later by Bruce Shoe Co. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.

Survivors are her husband, Sandra E. Gosselin, her mother, Helena Beaudoin Conley, and a brother, Albert J. Beaudoin Jr., all of Biddeford; and a sister Mrs. Howard (Helen) Taute of Arundel.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church. Internment is to be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco.
Calling hours are tonight, 7 to 9, and Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cote Funeral Home, Beach Street, Saco.

29 BIDDEFORD - Sandra E. Gosselin, 52, of Quimby Street, died Monday at Southern Maine Medical Center. She was born in Biddeford on September 28, 1947, a daughter of Paul G. and Jeannette BEaudoin Gosselin, and graduated from Biddeford Hish School. She was employed at Sweetser Children's Home in Saco for 34 years and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member and treasurer of the Sodality at the Church. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed cross stitch, cooking and baking. Her mother died in April 1984. Survivors include her father of Biddeford. Gosselin, Sandra Lee (I581)

Marcel Beauregard 87, long time resident of Burlington, died peacefully in his home Sunday, January 13th, 2013, aftera long illness, with his loving wife Rachel at his side. Marcel was born March21, 1925 in Saco, Maine. The son of Maurice and Imelda Beauregard. He was agraduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. He married RachelMadeline Poirier in April 6, 1953. That same year they moved to Burlingtonwhere he started work for TA Haigh Lumber Co. and became one of four ownersshortly after. He sold the company when he retired 1994. Marcel was in the  U.S. Army and served in WWII. He was an avidbee keeper for many years. He was one of the founding members of the Crescent BeachAssociation,  long time parishioner ofthe St. Mark Church and a  member of theElks club.
He very much enjoyed making home brew, boating and fishing, especially icefishing.
One of his greatest pleasures was spending summers at their residence in OceanPark, Maine.
Besides his wife Rachel he leaves his  sons; Guy and wife Barbara Beauregard ofAlburgh, VT, Paul and wife Sharon Beauregard of S. Burlington, VT, RobertBeauregard of Biddeford, ME., daughters; Carmen White of Burlington, MarieBeauregard of Burlington, Granddaughters; Melissa and husband Scott Smith ofSaco, ME, Tonya Beauregard of Fairfax VT, Tracey and husband Christopher  Hatch of Waltham, MA,  and Michaela Beauregard of Burlington, VT.Marcel also leaves his brother Marc and wife Rachel Beauregard of Saco, ME, hisbrother in law Jerry and wife Mary Poirier of N. Carolina, and sister in law  Carol Poirier of West Brook, ME. Many nieces,nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Roger Beauregard.  
Calling hours will be at Ready Funeral Home. Services will be held at St Mark’s. Interment will take place in Maine.

31 Charles E. Chuck Boisvert, 49, of Biddeford died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at his home after a long illness with Gerstmann-Straussler-Sheinker Syndrom. He was born in Biddeford on September 14, 1963 the son of Armand R. Joe and Pauline T. Neveux Boisvert. He was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High School with the class of 1981 where he played football and was a member of the 1980 Maine State Football Championship team. He also attended Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in South Portland. After his schooling Chuck traveled up and down the East Coast for several years from Massachusetts to Florida working odd jobs. He returned back to Biddeford after his father took ill. On July 7, 2012, he married Linda J. Fortier Guay in Biddeford. He worked as a sales representative with Baxter Medical Supply Co. in Massachusetts for a few years and last worked with the Crown Co. in Westbrook, selling heavy equipment for 13 years. He was forced to retire in 2012 due to the GSS illness. Chuck enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, snowmobiling, local and professional sports especially the New England Patriots. He loved his daughters and his grandchildren, they were his joy and gave him reason to live. Predeceasing him were his father in 1995, 2 sisters, Anne P. Jordan in 2004 and Michelle A. Elmorabit in 2009 and a nephew Jake Marcotte in 2012. Surviving are: His wife Linda J. BIDDEFORDD - Paul G. Gosselin, 86, of Quimby Street, died Monday at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Biddeford on September 8, 1915, the son of Antoine and Regina Brunelle Gosselin, and attended St. Louis High Shool. He worked for the Saco Lowell shops, Portland Naval Shipyard, South Portland Machine Tools and Moore Business Forms Inc, for 22 years, retiring in 1977 due to ill health. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Moore Employees Association and AARP, and a member of the Association des Families Gosselin. Mr. Gosselin was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. His wife, Jeannette Beaudoin Gosselin, died in 1984, and a daughter, Sandra E. , died in March 2000. Survivors include two nephews, the Rev. Gerard Gosselin of Bangor and Robert of Biddeford; two nieces, Donna Nadea of Saco and Claire Pouliot of Cheyenne, WY; and family friend and caregiver, Lorraine Perron of Biddeford.
